PP-hihnat

PP straps is also called polypropylene straps. Its raw material is polypropylene . Its material gravity is 0.94 kg/mm3 (calculated as 0.93 in practice), and its melting point is 240 degrees.

Features: strong tension, good plasticity, fatigue resistance, low density, easy to use, mainly used for strapping goods with carton packaging. Various colors, such as yellow, white, black etc., 

printing letters, printing logos etc. according to customers’ requirements,.

PP straps classification: full-automatic straps semi-automatic straps, manual straps.

PP straps marks: PP staps is expressed in five digits, the first three digits in width (mm), the second two digits in thickness (mm), J in full-automatic machine straps, P in semi-automatic machine straps, 

S in manual straps. Example: PP12006J denotes polypropylene, width12.0mm, thickness 0.6mm, full-automatic machine straps.

How to identify the purity of PP straps?

Kiilto: Pinnasta päätellen kirkkaampi, puhtaampi.

Transparency: completely opaque: core-wrapped straps, slightly transparent: mixed with calcium carbonate (masterbatch) straps, more transparent: mixed with drier straps, completely läpinäkyvä is 

pure straps;

Kovuus: Mitä puhtaampaa käytetty materiaali, sitä kovemmat hihnat. Päinvastoin, mitä enemmän masterbatchia tai kivijauhetta, sitä pehmeämmät hihnat.
